The Right Reverend Dr. Isaiah W. Mackey

Bishop Dr. Isaiah W. Mackey is a native of Syracuse, New York, and a devoted servant of the Lord whose life and ministry reflect a steadfast commitment to advancing the Kingdom of God through leadership development, pastoral care, and apostolic oversight.

From an early age, Bishop Mackey demonstrated a sincere hunger for God. At the age of eight, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, and at ten years old he received the gift of the Holy Ghost.

These formative spiritual experiences ignited a lifelong pursuit of God and prepared him for the work of ministry that would follow.

At the age of fifteen, Bishop Mackey accepted the call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His early ministerial development began under the leadership of Bishop Dr. Darren Page at Greater Highway Deliverance Temple in Utica, New York, where he served as a Minister in Training at the age of twenty. At twenty-one years old, he delivered his first sermon entitled “Trials May Come but God Will Never Leave Your Side,” marking the public affirmation of his preaching ministry.

In 2011, Bishop Mackey received ministerial licensure within the Church of God in Christ through the leadership of Apostle Mario D. Williams. His ministry continued to expand as he later received additional ministerial licensure and ordination within the Baptist tradition under the leadership of Overseer Dr. Derrick L. Tanyhill Sr. of Pentecost Evangelical Missionary Baptist Church in Syracuse, New York. These diverse ministerial experiences helped shape his balanced approach to ministry, enabling him to minister across denominational lines while maintaining a firm commitment to biblical doctrine and Spirit-led leadership.

In November 2021, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Bishop Mackey founded the Greater Harvest Network of Churches and Ministries, an apostolic fellowship committed to equipping, empowering, and mentoring emerging leaders in Gospel ministry. The network was established to provide spiritual covering, leadership development, and ministry structure for those called to serve in the work of the Lord.

In 2022, Bishop Mackey further expanded this work by launching Greater Harvest Ministries under the spiritual covering of Superintendent Dr. Jonathan Stephens Jr. During this season of ministry development, he also embraced an Apostolic and non-denominational expression of ministry, broadening the reach of his leadership and ministry influence.

On August 12, 2022, Bishop Mackey was ordained to the office of Elder in the Church of God in Christ, affirming his continued dedication to the service of the Lord and the work of the Church.

On June 10, 2023, Bishop Mackey was consecrated to the sacred office of Bishop by Apostle Mose L. Styles III, Presiding Prelate of BBCCFC. This consecration recognized years of faithful service, ministerial discipline, and spiritual leadership in advancing the mission of the Church.

On the First Sunday of September 2023, Bishop Mackey joined with Apostle Leslyn Herring-Brown in a Spirit-led merger of ministries, forming Impact Global – Greater Harvest Ministries in East Syracuse, New York. This strategic partnership further strengthened the reach and effectiveness of the ministry. In December 2025 ministries leaders went in another direction so we ended our merger. Bishop with sharing the heart of God and his loved for his wife, Pastor Myshi Mackey, we closed the doors for the church of Greater Harvest Ministries, as Pastor Mackey became the Senior Pastor of the Fountain of Life Church in September of 2025.

Bishop Mackey currently serves as the Presiding Prelate and Establishmentarian of the Greater Harvest Network of Churches and Ministries, providing apostolic oversight, leadership training, and spiritual covering to ministers and ministries both locally and abroad. His ministry is particularly focused on identifying, mentoring, and developing emerging leaders who may have been overlooked yet carry a genuine call to serve in the Kingdom of God.

In addition to his ministerial work, Bishop Mackey has pursued academic preparation that complements his service to both church and community. His educational accomplishments include:

  • Herkimer County Community College – Associate in Arts (2010)

  • Davis College – Studies in Christian Counseling and Theology (2012)

  • Empire State College – Bachelor of Arts in Community and Human Services (2025)

  • H.O.P.E. Academy – Honorary Doctorate in Biblical Theology (2025)

  • SUNY Canton – Continuing education in Nursing Home Administration (2026)

Bishop Mackey continues to pursue further academic development and plans to obtain a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or Public Health Administration, strengthening his ability to serve both the church and the broader community.

Today, Bishop Mackey and Pastor Myshi Mackey faithfully labor together in ministry at Fountain of Life Redeem House of God in Syracuse, New York, where they are committed to strengthening the church and community by leading God’s people from survival to stability through spiritual growth, discipleship, and compassionate community outreach.

Bishop Mackey’s life and ministry are anchored by his favorite scripture:

Philippians 4:13 (KJV) “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

This scripture remains the guiding testimony behind his leadership, ministry assignments, and commitment to the work of the Lord.

Bishop Mackey is joyfully married to Pastor Myshi Mackey, his partner in both life and ministry. Together they faithfully serve the people of God and are blessed with children and grandchildren who continue to inspire their dedication to Kingdom service.
