About Us

Fountain Recovery Housing (FRH) & Fountain Transitional Living (FTL)

A Ministry of Redeem House of God Church Inc.

Fountain Recovery Housing (FRH) and Fountain Transitional Living (FTL) are structured, peer-run supportive housing programs dedicated to helping individuals transition toward stability, sobriety, accountability, independence, and personal growth within a safe and respectful community environment.

Operated under Redeem House of God Church Inc., our mission is to provide safe, structured, and supportive housing opportunities for individuals experiencing housing instability, homelessness, recovery challenges, re-entry barriers, and life transitions while promoting long-term stability and independent living.

Our residences are community-based scattered-site homes located near public transportation, employment opportunities, healthcare providers, grocery stores, treatment providers, and community resources throughout the Syracuse area.

At FRH and FTL, we believe housing is more than just a place to stay — it is a foundation for rebuilding lives, restoring stability, and creating opportunities for long-term success.

We provide supportive housing environments focused on:

  • Accountability

  • Stability and structure

  • Independent living skills

  • Peer support

  • Recovery engagement

  • Community integration

  • Housing stabilization

  • Personal responsibility

  • Goal planning and progress monitoring

Our Program Leadership works closely with participants through weekly and monthly supportive case note documentation, housing stabilization planning, peer support engagement, and community resource coordination to help individuals remain focused on their personal goals and long-term success.

Fountain Recovery Housing (FRH) provides structured sober living housing for individuals recovering from substance use and co-occurring life challenges within a recovery-focused living environment.

Fountain Transitional Living (FTL) provides supportive transitional housing for individuals seeking safe and stable housing while working toward independence, employment, permanent housing, and overall life stabilization.

FRH and FTL are non-clinical supportive housing programs and do not provide medical care, nursing services, detoxification services, therapy, clinical treatment, mental health counseling, personal care services, Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), or Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs). Participants must be capable of independent living and managing their own personal needs.

We proudly maintain an inclusive environment that welcomes individuals regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, background, or life circumstance. Participation in faith-based activities is always voluntary and is never required in order to receive housing support or participate in our programs.

Our goal is simple: “Helping people rebuild one step at a time.”
